Parallax Effects

Parallax effects are a great way to add depth and movement to your website. You can use them to create stunning visual effects that will make your website stand out from the crowd. For this effects, we are using the Rellax library, which is very lightweight.

Understanding Parallax Effects

Technically, parallax are speed changes of objects as they move across the screen. In web design, parallax effects are used to create the illusion of depth and movement by moving elements at different speeds. You can use them to create stunning visual effects that will make your website look more dynamic and engaging.

However, it’s important to use parallax effects judiciously, as overuse can lead to a cluttered and confusing user experience.

How to Use

Activate the Extension

First, you need to activate the extension “Parallax Effects” in the Bricksforge Settings page under the “Extensions” tab.

Then, after you have activated the extension, for each element in the builder Style tab you’ll see the new group “Parallax”.

Add Parallax Effects to an Element

The new group “Parallax” contains the following options:

  • Enable: Enable or disable the parallax effect for this element.
  • Speed: The speed of the parallax effect. The higher the value, the faster the element will move, relative to the normal scrolling speed.
  • From Breakpoint: The breakpoint from which the parallax effect will be enabled. This is useful if you want to disable the parallax effect on mobile devices, for example. This select field is populating all breakpoint you’ve setup i then Bricks Builder.
